Last night at the high school fellowship the message was so timely. One thing he said was "Every day is another opportunity to grow in Christ".
Today someone said something thoughtless that hurt my feelings. It stuck with me for awhile and I just couldn't get it out of my head. Well one thought led to another until I was thinking just how irritated I was with this guy.
"Every day is another opportunity to grow in Christ". It came back to me. The choice was before me. I could continue to be held captive by these thoughts or cover it with love and forgive. I asked for God's grace to love and forgive.
You just never know how the Lord will use a word to help you along. This one sentence was just what He knew I would need today.
