Well her b-day isn't exactly tomorrow. Her real b-day is next Wed but she'll be on a ski trip in CO so we're celebrating all together tomorrow. Today I took her brother and sister shopping. It was fun to shop with them b/c they get so excited about what to get her. Tomorrow promises to be a fun day.
Her meals are:
Breakfast: cinnamon toast coffee cake, deviled eggs, and strawberry juice
Lunch: Quiznos with Mom and Dad
Dinner: chicken spaghetti
Dessert: homemade oreo ice cream with extra oreos on the side (this kid has good taste!)
After dinner she wants to play Bump. It's a fun board/marble/card game.
Anyway, here are some things about #2...
I've seen the greatest maturity in her in the area of school work this year. Her spelling is improving! She is faster with her math and makes fewer careless mistakes. I've been able to add computer work to her schedule.
She is also less likely to cry over school work when she's had a bad day.
She just got another 'superior' at the piano festival. Only 1 more until she gets a gold cup!
This year she has gotten both contacts AND braces. Needless to say, her pictures look a lot different than this time last year. She has been very responsible taking care of both.
She's been able to babysit at home a little bit for short periods of time. She's done great every time.
She learned to crochet. She's made some cute things.
She loves to play hard but is learning to carry herself like a lady.
She doesn't like anyone to have to wait for her.
She is VERY dependable. I can count on her to do a job right.
Her heart is the Lord's. She is very compassionate toward others and takes praying for needs very seriously.
She loves animals and they love her.
