I'm a little late with this one. His birthday was Saturday but it's been kind of hard around here with sickness. So glad everyone was here for his big day. We didn't do anything big...just stayed home and enjoyed being together again. Honey was very sick the whole day.
This little guy is so special I just can't say enough about him. He was our miracle baby, our first born after a vasectomy reversal. We didn't know if we'd ever get any more sweet babies, and he was conceived right away! What a blessing. His pregnancy was the easiest one I ever had and I gained the least amount of weight. There are 3 1/2 years between him and LB and that is the biggest gap we have. Here's some sweet facts about our six year old...
A short time ago he prayed to receive Jesus as his Savior!! What could ever be better than that?
Every night he asks me to come and pray with him.
He tries very hard to obey. He is a pleaser and doesn't want anyone to be upset with him.
He's a great big brother and is good at encouraging the little ones at whatever they're doing.
Bedtime is always a huge disappointment.
He's learning to read and do simple math. He said that he wants to read so he can help me with the grocery list.
He loves story time at the library.
Spy vs Spy is his favorite game.
He follows in his big brother's footsteps and likes to work out with him, do soccer drills, sword fight, ....anything.
He can do lots of push ups and sit ups (the right way).
He is a soccer stud. Definitely an attacker.
His smile is gorgeous!
He loves drawing, cutting, gluing, anything crafty.
His b-day meals were:
cinnamon rolls
mac and cheese with punch
pizza
chocolate cupcakes with chocolate oreo ice cream
I think this year will be lots of fun for him. I anticipate some new things, like loose teeth and learning to tie his shoe. He might even get to play some traveling tournaments!
Happy Birthday Sweetie Pie!! I love you!!
