Mr. Walker is my neighbor. Everyone needs a Mr. Walker. He is not a nosey neighbor, but I would say he is an "interested" neighbor. He is retired and home most of the day. He knows just about all there is to know about what is going on in the neighborhood. If he doesn't know about it, he's not afraid to ask.
He kisses my kids and tells them he loves them. He always remembers their b-days (impressive!). He's quick to pull up a lawn chair for you and grab you a drink out of the fridge in the garage. He loves to visit and share his opinion on *everything*.
We are safer with Mr. Walker around. Nothing gets by him. I will definitely miss him a lot! Honey looked at a house this week that has a neighborhood that is similar to ours. It also had a "Mr. Walker". This guy came out to talk to Honey and tell him all he knew about the house even though he'd never seen him before. That in itself makes me want to buy it!!
