Another Happy Birthday!

My sweet Jes turned 8 on Saturday!  Have I told you how much I love this kid?  He is such a treasure and a ton of fun!  And talented beyond belief.  And handsome.  And strong.  And brave. And super smart.  And....well you get the idea.  He is definitely our Great Eight. 

We had camera issues this weekend so we were left with just my cutsie camera.  Which is very cute, mind you...but maybe not so up close and crystal clear like the big one. 

The R boys came over early to open presents and celebrate with us.  Fun to have a birthday on a Saturday with Dad home and the boys over.  Then at 2pm we headed over to the camp site for Tae Kwon Do belt testing. 

And no pictures.  I know!  But this is the time when we got the error message and found ourselves camera-less. 

Anyhoo, everyone moved up a belt and had huge smiles on their faces.  TKD testing is always something to look forward to and Mr. T kinda made a show of them.   The weather was perfect and they got to run around and play with a couple of their TKD peeps. 

Then home to play bionicles on the roof.  

Because that's fun if you're a boy.

We had some cupcakes w/ G'ma & G'pa and Jes's dinner pick...chicken.  The boy can put down some meat.  So he got his own chicken all to himself. 

He stayed up late playing games with Dad.  Then had a great time fishing on Sunday.  Talk about a fun birthday weekend!
