Oh wow. You wouldn't believe how many trick-or-treaters we got. Unexpected, b/c there are hardly any kids around here. Apparently this is the go-to neighborhood with carloads of kids being brought in. We even had one neighbor that came to us with a bag of chocolates b/c he didn't want our kids to miss out when we was going to be gone tonight. Sweet!
We've never had such a crowd in any house before. Halloween is not my thing, but I'm glad my mother-in-law gave us a big bag of candy. My little guys are big enough to realize that something's going on that they're not part of. Today I've had lots of questions. So I printed off something from the internet to read to them about the origins of Halloween.
I still feel like a fuddy dud though.
