haha, btw, you know how webster wrote grammars and readers and compiled an american dictionary? he had a HUGE influence on american englsih. Well, he made a lot of changes to our language (he's the reason we write "color" instead of "colour"). He TRIED to change soup to soop, since it made more sense, but the public wouldn't accept it.
if they hadn't been so stubborn.... :)
