15 years ago yesterday I gave birth to a most beautiful baby girl with lots of dark hair and a good set of lungs. Her due date was March 13th and I hoped that she would not come on that day. No it wasn't Friday and I'm NOT superstitious, but a child born on the 13th will eventually have a b-day on Friday the 13th and I never wanted any of my children to have a weird b-day. Dumb I know.
The 13th came and no baby. In fact, I went to my friend's baby shower that day with a gigantic round belly and no hopes of labor starting any time soon. Imagine my surprise when things started moving along quite quickly that evening! Never one to enjoy being late, she made her appearance at 12:22am on March 14th. Perfect!
~Lane is so much fun. Ask any of her siblings. She joins right in with whatever is going on...soccer games, trampoline jumping, tree climbing, whatever.
~She constantly amazes me with the deep and difficult things she is able to understand about God. She takes everything to prayer and has such a sweet heart for the Lord.
~She is quick to apologize.
~This is funny. She is a great etch-a-sketch artist! I've never known anybody who was any good at making anything with an etch-a-sketch, but she is. She can even write cursive on it!
~She is an animal lover through and through. Buzz is coming along quite nicely thanks to her patient and diligent training.
~She is a great sister sitter but refuses to babysit for anyone...even if the child is asleep the whole time. But if you need your dog walked....she's your girl!
~She is careful and rarely leaves things out.
~She likes healthy foods. Yay! Her favorite food is salad.
We had a fun day yesterday with 3 soccer games, the new trampoline, and a movie after dinner.
Her meals...
breakfast - cinnamon rolls
lunch - burgers and fries
dinner - tuna sauce, garlic toast, and salad
