4yo had a tangle with his 2yo little brother today. He didn't come out on the winning side. I met him on the stairs, crying. He said "He bited me!" I looked at his shoulder and sure enough the evidence was clear.
I said "He bit you?".
He said "No, he bited me."
I said, "I'm sorry he BIT (with emphasis) you", hoping he'd catch on.
He said, "yeah, and then he BITED me!"

doesn't everyone know that you have to add 'ed' to make it past tense? LOL! grammar is so hard, poor kids ;^)
