Surprise for #1

One of her friends called me last week to arrange a surprise shopping trip for #1. I didn't even tell her sisters b/c I didn't want there to be any chance of it leaking out. So yesterday I told her that she ought to fix her hair b/c we might have some time to go to Thrift Town and look around. She finished school early and was ready to go...she loves shopping. The doorbell rang and there stood her best friends ready to surprise her and take her away. This is the kid that is hardly ever surprised by anything. She was totally unsuspecting!! It was fun to see her so taken off guard and happy. I can't wait to see the pictures. She had a great time. I am thankful for her sweet friends to do a special day for her before we leave.
