My inlaws are hilarious! (Remember the time she gave her fish a bath?) They're visiting now but sorta in and out with their huge motor home parked on our sidewalk.
My MIL was gone all afternoon and evening and we decided that we probably wouldn't see her till tomorrow.
Dinner was done, the kitchen cleaned. Little kids were in bed and the house was quiet.
All of a sudden my MIL and her 2 sisters burst in and start making spaghetti! Seriously, by the time I got upstairs the spaghetti water was already on the stove. They bring in all sorts of food stuff and fill the kitchen with loud Korean words and laughter. All the kids get up to see G'ma, Mangnay, and Emo. Hugs and kisses all around with entreaties to eat watermelon.
I do love the way that they never feel out of place or worry that they are intruding. They are perfectly at home helping themselves to whatever they need. Because of that they never feel like guests no matter how long its been since we've seen them.
